A Clay County homeowner couple contracted with the defendants in March 2023 to install a 119-gallon pressure tank for $1,650.00, and again in August 2024 to install a larger pump for $3,750.00. The court found the work was substandard and not performed in a workmanlike manner, that the installed tank burst and flooded the basement, and that the defendants’ representations were knowingly false. This is the only matter in this record that has reached a final money judgment.

A rent-to-own trailer company obtained a judgment against Jesse Yoakum in Cass County in March 2022. This site holds only the Case.net judgment record, not the underlying petition, so it makes no claim about what the dispute was about. What the record does establish is the date, the amount, that it was entered by default, and that it has never been satisfied — the earliest of three unpaid judgments documented here.

EquipmentShare.com Inc., a construction equipment company, obtained judgment in Boone County against both the excavation LLC and Jesse Yoakum personally. What it does establish is the amount, the date, the 9% interest, and that more than three years later nothing has been paid.

A Newton County, Missouri resident sued all three Yoakum defendants in Cass County. The petition pleads eight counts in total — four against the well drilling sole proprietorship and four against the excavation LLC and Jesse Yoakum, Jr. — including the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act, fraudulent inducement to contract, and unjust enrichment. The petition states that the defendants were engaged in the business of drilling water and ground source wells in both Missouri and Kansas. As of the most recent filing obtained for this site, the plaintiff had moved for an interlocutory order of default. No ruling on that motion has been obtained.

A Grandview, Missouri homeowner contracted for the plugging of an abandoned oil and gas well and paid $6,450.00 in two installments — $3,700.00 by Venmo on May 3, 2024 and $2,750.00 by PayPal on July 5, 2024. Over the following seventeen months essentially no work was performed. Judgment was entered against all three defendants on December 2, 2025.

Jesse Alan Yoakum and Jesse Yoakum Well Drilling submitted the McCorkell lawsuit to their insurance carrier seeking a defense. The carrier responded by filing its own lawsuit asking a Missouri court to rule that it owes nothing. The policy identified in the petition, number BPK0000039-04, ran from August 21, 2022 to August 21, 2023. This action is pending and the court has not ruled.

A civil dispute between two brothers over real property and mineral rights. It is included here for one narrow reason: it is a public court record in which a party alleges the same sequence the consumer cases describe — an agreement reached, signed, and then not honored. To be unambiguous about it: Matthew Yoakum is the plaintiff here. He is the one who signed the settlement and went to court to enforce it. He runs a separate business, holds his own Kansas licence, and nothing anywhere on this site is about him. Every statement on this page is an unproven allegation from a filed motion.
